Happy Wednesday and welcome to today’s edition of Common Sense with Ally Sammarco. Today’s breakdown includes the ongoing protests throughout Minnesota, the real cost of acquiring Greenland, Trump cursing at a worker (???), and the Clintons saying “f*** you” to a Republican subpoena.
Let’s break it down.
Lawless ICE Officers Sparks Protests Across Minnesota….Communities across Minnesota are pushing back against an expanding federal immigration enforcement presence that has triggered days of protests, clashes, and escalating confrontations—particularly in Minneapolis, where tensions are high following the shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE officer last week. Immigration officers are deploying pepper spray, tear gas, and chemical agents against protesters and community monitors, while videos show officers questioning people at random locations, detaining observers, and conducting aggressive arrests. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has announced plans to send even more agents to the state, despite warnings from local officials like the Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey and residents that the increased presence is inflaming tensions rather than calming them. Minnesota officials have now sued the federal government to block the deployment, arguing it is dangerous, unlawful, and destabilizing—as communities describe the operations not as public safety, but as intimidation.
Common Sense Takeaway: You would think that in an attempt to bring down the temperature, DHS would relocate ICE officers for the time being. But no. They don’t care if more people get injured or die. They want to flex their muscles in Democratic cities and now even more unqualified fake police officers will be in the neighborhoods of Minneapolis. What could go wrong?
Trump’s Greenland Obsession Could Cost Up to $700 Billion….President Trump’s renewed push to acquire Greenland is no longer a fringe idea inside his administration—and it could come with a staggering price tag of up to $700 billion, according to officials. Trump has directed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to explore a proposal to purchase the island, even as leaders in Greenland and Denmark have repeatedly and unequivocally said it is not for sale. The pressure campaign has unsettled Greenland’s population, strained relations with NATO allies, and raised alarm in Congress, where bipartisan lawmakers are moving to block any attempt to seize the territory by force. While Trump frames the effort as a national security necessity in the Arctic, experts warn that his rhetoric risks destabilizing alliances, violating sovereignty, and inflaming global tensions—all over a plan that Greenlanders overwhelmingly reject!
Common Sense Takeaway: Threatening to acquire a sovereign territory against the will of its people is not serious foreign policy. It undermines our alliances, violates international norms, and creates instability. It’s also just plain dumb. Why don’t we spend $700 billion on healthcare instead? Or pretty much anything else?
Trump Flips Off Worker at Ford Plant as Epstein Controversy Follows Him….President Trump flipped off and cursed at a Ford plant worker in Michigan after the worker shouted “pedophile protector” during a public tour—an exchange the White House later called “appropriate.” The worker has since been suspended by his union and says he fears political retaliation for embarrassing the president. The outburst is clearly tied to the ongoing fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein files, which continues to follow Trump despite his efforts to dismiss the controversy as a “hoax” and distract with us various stunts (see: Venezuela, Greenland, ICE, etc.)
Common Sense Takeaway: Major props to this guy. He risked his career and reputation to tell the orange menace the truth. Good for him. He also got the President to publicly curse at a union worker. Can you imagine if that were Joe Biden or Barack Obama? I can only imagine the Fox News headlines.
Clintons Defy Epstein Subpoenas, Face Potential Contempt of Congress…Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to appear for closed-door depositions before the House Oversight Committee as part of its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, setting up a potential contempt-of-Congress fight. Bill Clinton skipped his scheduled testimony Tuesday and now faces possible contempt proceedings; Hillary Clinton is scheduled to testify but has signaled she may also decline. The Clintons say they have already provided all relevant information and accuse Republicans of using the investigation as political retaliation rather than a good-faith search for truth. But committee leaders argue the subpoenas were bipartisan and that Epstein’s survivors deserve full accountability.
Common Sense Takeaway: I don’t blame them. If Donald Trump isn’t testifying and the documents are not fully released, then why should they comply? We demand the full, unvarnished truth and so do the courts. Not another political stunt.
That’s it for today. Thanks for reading Common Sense with Ally Sammarco. Check back tomorrow for more.

I don't blame the Clinton's either! Another great article Ally in your COMMON SENSE STYLE! Too bad that COMMON SENSE IS LACKING IN THIS ENTIRE ADMINISTRATION!
I dont blame the Clinton's. Not saying they're guilty or innocent but if TANTRUMP wont release the list and TANTRUMP wont testify before Congress why should the Clinton's.
Remember a woman, who was allegedly raped by Epstein and Tantrump came forward with a witness in the room at the time of the alleged rapein 2016. However because of alleged death threats by Tantrump, she didnt testify. Whatever is in the Epstein Files must make Tantrump scared to death. But he wont be able to lie about it when he stands befire Jesus.
Justice will come by God, maybe not in this life but definitely in the next and this time it will be forever.
Amen!
