For the first time ever, the candidates in this presidential election, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, faced off in an election just four years earlier. Some Democrats believe that Biden is the only one who can beat Trump — that all he has to do is repeat the playbook from 2020 and he’ll achieve the same result. I disagree.
It's critical to understand that the 2020 election was a different ballgame altogether: different circumstances, different voters, and although the same candidates, their situations have evolved. Simply replaying the 2020 strategy doesn't guarantee a win in 2024.
