Trump’s White House Ballroom Could Cost Taxpayers Hundreds of Millions….President Trump previously claimed that private donors would cover the cost of his planned White House ballroom. But new reporting from The Washington Post shows the project’s price tag has ballooned to roughly $600 million, with about half of the funding expected to come from taxpayer-funded government accounts, including the Secret Service and White House Military Office. The project, which replaces the historic East Wing, has drawn bipartisan criticism from lawmakers who argue taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the bill after Trump repeatedly described the ballroom as a privately funded “gift” to the American people.

Common Sense Takeaway: Nope. Nope. Nope. This is bullshit. I do not want my taxpayer dollars to go to this dumbass ballroom. Nobody asked for this, and from the very beginning, Trump has assured us that taxpayers would not spend a cent on this. Another big, fat lie. Elon “trillionaire” Musk should foot the bill for this, not us.

Newsom Says DOJ Is Investigating Him and His Wife….California Governor Gavin Newsom says the Trump administration has launched a Justice Department investigation targeting him and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. According to Newsom, FBI and IRS agents have contacted family friends, former employees, and organizations connected to the couple while seeking financial records and conducting interviews. Newsom claims the investigation is politically motivated, pointing to his long-running clashes with President Trump and his potential 2028 presidential ambitions. The Justice Department has declined to comment, and the exact focus of the investigation remains unclear. Newsom insists neither he nor his wife have done anything wrong and says the administration is trying to intimidate political opponents.

Common Sense Takeaway: What the hell are we going to do about this? This is political retribution, CLEAR AS DAY. They are picking their victim, then trying to find a crime! Are we just going to let them target a potential 2028 contender because Trump wants to stay in power?! Congress, hello??

Eric Trump Goes Viral for UFC Betting Messages…A viral social media controversy erupted after screenshots appeared to show Eric Trump privately messaging UFC commentator Daniel Cormier for inside information ahead of the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House. The alleged messages included questions about injured fighters, betting tips, and whether any fights were “rigged.” However, Cormier later said the screenshots were fake and claimed his X account had been hacked. Eric Trump also denied ever communicating with Cormier, calling the images AI-generated fabrications. It’s unclear how someone got access to Cormier’s account or why they would post these photos. OpenAI and X also labeled these photos as authentic.

Common Sense Takeaway: This looks like an obvious case of the Trump family being stupid and corrupt in broad daylight, then issuing a pressure campaign to force Cormier to remove the post and issue a retraction. Are you kidding me? This is mafia behavior. I think we need a formal investigation into insider trading by Eric Trump NOW and a subpoena to Daniel Cormier.
